You First Support Services are looking for a compassionate and motivated Community Support Worker to join our team in the Yeovil and surrounding areas. In this rewarding role, you will support individuals in their own homes and local communities to live independent, fulfilling lives. Your support will be tailored to each person’s needs and may include:

  • Assisting with food shopping and meal preparation
  • Supporting healthy lifestyles, such as attending the gym or going for walks
  • Encouraging attendance at social activities and events
  • Providing practical and emotional support with day-to-day living

Support is provided throughout the week, including weekends with a variety of shift times available; full or part-time hours. The shifts are at least 2 hours long at each person we support. Availability across weekdays and every other weekend is required, with the supports allocated in line with the person’s needs.

We specialise in creating bespoke Micro-Teams – small, dedicated groups of Support Workers chosen by the person supported – who work together to help individuals achieve their goals, hopes, dreams, and aspirations.
