You and Me Supported Living provides support to house mates in their own home, enabling them to live as independently as possible within a safe and secure environment. The role involves leading a team of personal assistants to support individuals in enhancing their quality of life.
Your normal place of work will be in Chipping Norton, Oxfordshire.
Responsible for:- Leading a team of personal assistants in supporting house mates to live as independently as possible.
- Following the agreed support and risk reduction plan for individual house mates.
- Upholding the vision, values, and ethos of You and Me Supported Living Limited.
- Provide person-centred, outcome-focused support for house mates, helping them maintain and increase their independence.
- Support house mates with personal care, healthy eating, cleanliness, home safety, and being responsible members of the community.
- Encourage house mates to be as independent as possible and safe in the community.
- Work positively within the agreed support plan for each individual house mate.
- Participate in regular supervision, appraisal, and personal development as required by the company.
- Ensure all incidents and accidents are reported immediately and recorded.
- Report any suspected or disclosed abuse immediately to the Registered Manager.
- Take reasonable care for the health and safety of yourself and others in accordance with the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974.
- Flexible approach to meet the support expectations of house mates.
- Proactive communication and good organisational skills.
- Ability to maintain accurate written records.
- Ability to work on own initiative.
- Willingness to undertake training as necessary for the role.
