Yotspot is the industry leading jobs board specialising in the recruitment of crew for some of the worlds largest and most prestigious superyachts. Yotspot has an excellent reputation already, but you will be joining at an incredibly exciting time for the next stage of our business growth. To support this, an opportunity has arisen for a talented individual to lead social media and all associated content marketing. As we are a small but agile team, this role will give you a wide remit where you can lead and enjoy extensive responsibility. You will help to define the strategy and you will be responsible for all the creation and rollout of required content. From time to time you may also be on the ground posting live from events, and, if you are comfortable in front of the camera this could also form part of your role if you wish. A keen attitude to learn about the industry and all aspects of the business is expected. Occasional travel will be required, so this should be something that is an exciting prospect for you and works with your home life balance.
Requirements and responsibilities:
- Capable of delivering standout social strategies, creative concepts, campaigns, and overall channel and content plans
- Experience of ongoing daily management including scheduling, response and outreach engagement and listening, including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube - TikTok an advantage
- Experience of creating written content and building calendars suitable for each platform and the website, with SEO and AI awareness and an ability to write accordingly
- Creative skill including videography experience - simple content capture and editing only.
- Designing assets using Adobe, Canva or another preferred method
- Filming experience, face to camera interviews, with the ability and confidence to spot opportunities for content at shows and events
- Expertise to monitor and report on content performance using analytics, making recommendations for improvements and setting goals to increase brand awareness, engagement and conversion accordingly
- Excellent networking skills
- Hubspot experience an advantage
- Knowledge of AI also advantageous
Experience: (These are preferred and having all is not essential)
- Minimum 3 years experience in a similar role
- Able to give examples of growth on social media channels
- Ability to share examples of successful content that generated engagement and/or conversion
- Experience in branding work
- Paid social campaign management
- Yachting or marine industry knowledge
