Overview
We’re looking for a Systems Operations Manager to join our growing Systems Operations team. In this pivotal role, you will oversee Yoto’s critical applications and data flows, lead cross-functional projects, and champion knowledge sharing across the organisation. We’re seeking someone with proven experience in supply chain, ecommerce, and IT operations who is ready to shape how technology underpins and enables Yoto’s future growth.
About Yoto
Yoto is a screen-free interactive audio platform for kids. We make carefully connected audio players that kids control, with no microphones, cameras or ads. We have a catalogue of audio that inspires creative play and learning with 1,000+ titles in our card store from top creators, publishers and labels – think Disney, Marvel, Roald Dahl and Universal Music. We also create Yoto Originals like this one.
What you’ll be doing
- Manage systems operations for critical business systems including ERP (NetSuite), ecommerce platforms (Shopify, Amazon), and iPaaS solutions (e.g. Celigo, Boomi, MuleSoft).
- Responsible for the delivery of Systems Operations work, ensuring priorities are clear and outcomes are achieved on time.
- Lead projects to improve scalability and reduce manual overhead, including system implementations, integrations, and process redesigns.
- Act as the subject matter expert on systems operations in cross-functional projects spanning supply chain, ecommerce, finance, and customer experience.
- Troubleshoot complex system issues and integration failures, identifying root causes and liaising with vendors and internal teams for resolution.
- Document business needs and propose pragmatic, scalable solutions.
- Champion knowledge sharing by coaching and enabling the Systems Operations team, while empowering colleagues across the business to use systems effectively.
- Deliver regular training sessions for colleagues, increasing systems literacy across the organisation.
- Continuously review operational processes, identifying automation and optimisation opportunities.
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders and external partners to ensure smooth-running operations and timely delivery of projects.
What you’ll bring
- Proven experience in systems operations, administration, or IT operations with demonstrable experience balancing BAU and projects.
- Strong working knowledge of ERP systems (ideally NetSuite).
- Hands-on experience with ecommerce platforms such as Shopify and Amazon.
- Experience with iPaaS and workflow automation tools (e.g. Celigo, Boomi, MuleSoft, Tray.io).
- Proven ability to identify, diagnose, and resolve issues in API-based integrations.
- Commercial awareness from working in a fast-growing tech company, retailer, or supply chain environment.
- Ability to work cross-functionally with technical and non-technical stakeholders, translating requirements into delivery.
- Strong documentation skills, with a passion for reducing manual effort and improving scalability.
- Leadership qualities: able to manage and mentor team members, instilling a proactive and solution-focused culture.
- A passion for using technology to solve problems and enable growth.
Salary: £55,000 – £65,000 based on experience

- Flexibility: Hybrid working – expectation of 1 day a week in our London office, but you are welcome to come in more. Take advantage of our ‘work from anywhere’ policy to work from a different location for up to 6 weeks every year. Summer Hours policy to use between June and August.
