We are looking for a creative, data-driven Marketing Lead, Audio Content to spearhead our marketing of Yoto’s content proposition. At Yoto we are building a world of imagination, screen‑free learning, and family rituals, with brilliant content (over 1000 cards!) at its heart. This role owns and executes our strategy for how we use content to acquire new families to Yoto (both through new releases and existing catalogue), and to drive loyalty from existing families by helping them build a library of content that they love.
About Yoto: Yoto is a screen‑free interactive audio platform for kids. We make carefully connected audio players that kids control, with no microphones, cameras or ads. We have a catalogue of audio that inspires creative play and learning with 1,000+ titles in our card store from top creators, publishers and labels – think Disney, Marvel, Roald Dahl and Universal Music. We also create Yoto Originals like BrainBots.
What you’ll be doing:
- Develop and execute a multi‑channel content roadmap that supports product launches & seasonal campaigns, localising for regional or market specific nuances as appropriate.
- Work with Acquisition marketing team to maximise the potential of our content proposition in acquiring new families to Yoto, by deeply understanding which content properties are family acquisition drivers.
- Work closely with the Retention, Organic Social & Community teams to grow LTV of our existing families, bringing our content to life & enabling them to build a library they love.
- Identify and execute strategic partnerships, collaborations, and activations.
- Work closely with the Brand Marketing team to champion our unique value proposition—the power of audio for children’s entertainment & development.
- Be the “glue” between our Content, Brand and Acquisition & Retention Marketing teams to ensure a unified roadmap & communications strategy for our content across all customer touchpoints.
What you’ll bring:
- 6+ years of experience in content marketing, preferably within a high‑growth DTC, EdTech, or Media environment.
- Omnichannel marketing experience, with a deep understanding of how to use each channel most effectively for impactful storytelling.
- A deep understanding of the nuances of marketing to parents (the buyers) while keeping the joy of the child (the user) at the center of everything.
- Proven experience launching new products effectively across multiple international markets, localising where appropriate.
- Exceptional stakeholder management skills, from external partners to multiple internal teams.
- Highly analytical, comfortable using data to identify and iterate on strategies which have worked.
- Exceptional writing and presentation skills.
- Comfortable in a fast‑paced, constantly evolving scale‑up environment, with a strong bias for action.
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Experience in the audio, podcasting, or publishing industry.
- A passion for audio content and technology.
Salary: £70,000 - £80,000 based on experience.
