What the job involves:
The VP Growth is a senior leadership role with full accountability for revenue delivery and P&L management to contribution margin level. It is a broad, commercially-oriented role which spans the full range of sales and marketing activity. It requires someone who blends strategy and execution, and who is excited by the opportunity of building a global consumer business. The role sits on the Senior Leadership Team and reports directly to the CEO, leading a large team.
Outside of the Growth function, you will work closely with the Product, Finance, and Operations teams. This role is a fixed-term maternity cover contract for 6-9 months. You will own Yoto's global revenue number and own the P&L. That means having a clear view of CAC, LTV, AOV, and attach rates across every channel and market — and making informed investment decisions to drive profitable growth.
You will lead the full growth function, which includes:
- Performance marketing — acquisition and retention
- Brand marketing & creative studio
- Product marketing
- Communications and advocacy
- ECommerce
- Marketplace
- Retail
You will lead Yoto's in-market teams, which are responsible for creating the growth strategy for each market and executing marketing plans and B2B sales. These teams sit close to the customer; your role is to ensure they have the strategy, tools, and support to convert that into meaningful revenue growth.
