We’re looking for a Product Marketing Lead to be the strategic linchpin between product, brand and growth marketing teams. You’ll lead the go-to-market (GTM) strategy for all new product launches and own the positioning, messaging, and narrative across the entire product portfolio. This is a highly cross-functional role — ideal for a commercially minded storyteller who can think both strategically and creatively, understands the nuances of consumer behavior, and is obsessed with how product, brand, and customer experience intersect.

About Yoto: Yoto is a screen-free interactive audio platform for kids. We make carefully connected audio players that kids control, with no microphones, cameras or ads. We have a catalogue of audio that inspires creative play and learning with 1,000+ titles in our card store from top creators, publishers and labels - think Disney, Marvel, Roald Dahl and Universal Music. We also create Yoto Originals like BrainBots.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Develop compelling positioning, messaging, and value propositions for each product, audience, and market segment.
  • Craft product narratives that clearly articulate benefits, differentiators, and emotional resonance.
  • Lead end-to-end GTM planning for all product launches, from concept to commercialization.
  • Collaborate closely across our product, brand, creative, eCommerce, and growth teams to build and execute integrated launch plans.
  • Deeply understand our customer, market trends, and competitors — and translate insights into actionable strategies.
  • Drive consumer research, surveys, and testing to validate positioning and inform product strategy.
  • Support retention team with messaging frameworks that nurture and upsell across the customer lifecycle.
  • Own and execute our packaging and POS approach, clearly articulating the Yoto brand story and product benefits in a retail environment.
  • Build & nurture a high-performing team of product marketing managers & insights specialists.

What you’ll bring:

  • 7+ years of experience in product marketing, brand strategy, or consumer marketing in a high-growth DTC or eCommerce environment.
  • Proven track record of launching products & owning GTM strategies end to end.
  • Strong strategic thinking with a deep understanding of consumer psychology and storytelling.
  • Comfortable with data, insight gathering, and turning qualitative and quantitative inputs into clear action.
  • Highly collaborative, with experience working cross-functionally across product, creative, and commercial teams.
  • Experienced leader, who builds & develops brilliant teams.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills — confident in influencing at all levels.
  • Agile, curious, and energised by building in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • A passion for audio content and technology.
  • Ability to think on your feet, and learn fast.

Salary: £70,000 - £80,000 based on experience.

What you can expect from Yoto:

  • Flexibility: Hybrid working - expectation of 1 day a week on average in our London office, but you are welcome to come in more than this.
  • Financial: Receive Income Protection, covering long term sickness for up to 2 years and company sick pay that increases with length of service.
  • Health & Wellness: Private Medical Insurance via Aviva, or a Wellbeing Allowance to be used for memberships, subscriptions, treatment or therapy.
  • Time Off: 25 days of holiday per year, plus bank holidays.
  • Helping Families: Variety of family-friendly leave, including enhanced maternity, paternity, adoption, fertility, pregnancy loss and carers leave.
  • People & Planet: Up to 2 volunteer days a year.
  • Fun Perks: You receive your very own Yoto player and starter pack of cards!

Equity and Diversity: At Yoto, we love creating a world where childhood is rich with discovery and joy. We’re also passionate about building a workplace where everyone can thrive - both professionally and personally.
