We’re looking for a Content Assistant to support the management of a catalogue of over 1,000 Yoto cards. You'll work closely with the Content Operations Coordinators, supporting the team across a range of tasks where no two days are the same.

About Yoto

Yoto is a screen-free interactive audio platform for kids. We make carefully connected audio players that kids control, with no microphones, cameras or ads. We have a catalogue of audio that inspires creative play and learning with 1,000+ titles in our card store from top creators, publishers and labels - think Disney, Marvel, Roald Dahl and Universal Music. We also create Yoto Originals like BrainBots.

We’re on a mission to be the soundtrack of childhood, and help families on their own unique adventures. By creating products that inspire independent play, we help families discover and grow with an inspiring world of audio - and we would like you to help us achieve it!

What you’ll be doing:

  • Assisting the Content Operations team with managing a catalogue of over 1,000 cards at various stages of production and liaising with internal teams to solve any issues that arise.
  • Proofreading all copy and checking printer proofs before they go to print.
  • Organising all partner art and audio files from publishers and record labels, as well as gathering and inputting any outstanding metadata for titles into our Master Content Tracker.
  • Setting up new titles end-to-end - from creating job folders and card IDs to generating GTINs and validating metadata.
  • Bringing content to life on our platform: adding audio, clipping previews, selecting chapter icons and briefing bespoke artwork to the Design team.
  • Uploading titles to all Shopify sites before launch and being the point of contact for any updates including tagging titles for sales initiatives.
  • Uploading and maintaining live podcasts, creating card IDs, testing icons, clipping audio previews and scheduling, setting up and taking down free content in the app.
  • Handling contractual distribution, sending copies to partners and internal stakeholders as required.
  • Supporting stock management, including checking statuses and logging weekly arrivals.
  • Maintaining our office card library, keeping it organised and up to date.

What you’ll bring:

  • 1–2+ years of admin experience - a bonus if in publishing, TV/film, toys or licensing.
  • A sharp eye for detail with hands-on proofreading experience and the ability to give clear, constructive feedback.
  • Comfortable picking up new tools and systems quickly; experience with platforms like Shopify, Monday, or a CMS is a bonus.
  • Brilliantly organised, with the ability to juggle multiple projects and priorities.
  • A strong communicator, able to work well in a collaborative team environment and can manage multiple stakeholders.
  • Demonstrable ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines.
  • A proven multitasker and problem-solver who can think on their feet.

Salary: £24,000 - £27,000 based on experience

What you can expect from Yoto:

  • Flexibility: Hybrid working - At least 1 day a week in our central London office.
  • Financial: Receive Income Protection, covering long term sickness for up to 2 years and company sick pay that increases with length of service.
  • Health & Wellness: Private Medical Insurance via Aviva, or a Wellbeing Allowance to be used for memberships, subscriptions, treatment or therapy.
