We are looking for a 3D Motion Designer to join our team to help bring the Yoto world to life through engaging, playful and beautifully crafted motion. This role is a fixed term contract until the end of 2026.

About Yoto

Yoto is a screen‑free interactive audio platform for kids. We make carefully connected audio players that kids control, with no microphones, cameras or ads. We have a catalogue of audio that inspires creative play and learning with 1,000+ titles in our card store from top creators, publishers and labels – think Disney, Marvel, Roald Dahl and Universal Music. We also create Yoto Originals like BrainBots.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Design and animate 3D motion graphics that express Yoto’s playful, warm and imaginative brand.
  • Create animations for product videos, launch campaigns, social media, website content and presentations.
  • Develop concepts, storyboards, style frames, and motion exploration from creative briefs.
  • Bring physical products to life through 3D visuals, animation and renders.
  • Collaborate with designers, illustrators and copywriters to create cohesive creative work.
  • Balance creativity with clarity, making sure animations are accessible and easy to understand.
  • Manage multiple projects while maintaining a high level of craft and attention to detail.

What you’ll bring:

  • Strong experience as a 3D motion designer, with a portfolio or showreel demonstrating high quality work.
  • Proficiency in Cinema4D, Blender or similar 3D software.
  • Solid experience in After Effects and compositing workflows.
  • Strong understanding of animation principles, pacing and visual storytelling.
  • A great eye for design, colour, lighting and composition.
  • Ability to interpret brand guidelines while pushing creative.
  • Clear communication and collaborative mindset.
  • Experience of rendering physical products or consumer electronics.
  • Knowledge of Redshift, Octane or similar render engine.

Nice to have:

  • Experience with playful, character‑led or child‑focused content.
  • Familiarity with sound design or audio‑led storytelling.
  • Experience in working in consumer brands, product companies or creative studios.

Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 based on experience.
