We’re looking for a Senior Product Analyst to join our Data Team to help provide insights across our products and business and provide the foundations to grow the business to the next level.

About Yoto

Yoto is a screen‑free interactive audio platform for kids. We make carefully connected audio players that kids control, with no microphones, cameras or ads. We have a catalogue of audio that inspires creative play and learning with 1,000+ titles in our card store from top creators, publishers and labels – think Disney, Marvel, Roald Dahl and Universal Music. We also create Yoto Originals like BrainBots.

We’re on a mission to be the soundtrack of childhood, and help families on their own unique adventures. By creating products that inspire independent play, we help families discover and grow with an inspiring world of audio – and we would like you to help us achieve it!

Yoto’s Data Team

We’re a small team at the heart of all the decisions Yoto makes. We work in a high‑trust environment with a lot of independence. Everyone can contribute ideas and be part of the decision‑making process. We tackle a broad range of problems, from developing cutting‑edge data product solutions to maintaining and building data ingestion pipelines, query and orchestration platforms. Our work spans across all the key strategic projects throughout the company.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Partner with tech, design and product teams to understand their needs, providing actionable analysis to inform roadmaps, measure initiatives and drive decisions.
  • Own end‑to‑end analysis projects: define problems and hypotheses, gather requirements, analyse data, present findings with recommendations, drive decision‑making discussions.
  • Support strategic decision‑making at leadership and team levels, ensuring alignment with Yoto’s goals.
  • Drive adoption of data literacy across the organisation by mentoring colleagues and leading data education initiatives.
  • Be a leader within the Data team, helping us grow, defining standards and best practices as well as sharing knowledge and capabilities.
  • Design, analyse and interpret experiments (e.g. A/B tests) to assess product changes and guide iteration.
  • Develop and maintain robust product metrics, dashboards and self‑serve insights that teams trust and use.

What you’ll bring:

  • Proven experience in analytics roles, with a track record of influencing product or business decision making with data and insights.
  • Proficiency in SQL and experience working with modern data stacks. dbt is essential, GCP, AWS are nice to haves.
  • Strong analytical and statistical skills, with experience in data visualisation tools (e.g. Lightdash, Looker or Tableau).
  • Solid understanding of experimentation techniques and statistical analysis (e.g. A/B testing).
  • Ability to translate complex data findings into clear, compelling narratives for both technical and non‑technical audiences.
  • Experience in working cross‑functionally (with tech disciplines advantageous) and building strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and excited by the opportunity to shape how data drives decision‑making at Yoto.
  • Bonus: experience with Python, R or similar for advanced analytics.

Salary £75,000 – £85,000 based on experience. We never want to miss out on great candidates, so don’t let our banding put you off reaching out – there’s sometimes flexibility for the right fit!

What you can expect from Yoto:

  • Flexibility: Hybrid working – expectation of 1 day a week on average in our London office, but you are welcome to come in more. You can work from a different location for up to 6 weeks every year. Summer Hours policy between June and August.
  • Financial: Receive Income Protection, covering long‑term sickness for up to 2 years and company sick pay that increases with length of service. Life Assurance from day one. Workplace Pension up to 3% employer contribution following probation. Generous employee referral bonus scheme.
  • Health & Wellness: Private Medical Insurance via Aviva, or a Wellbeing Allowance for memberships, subscriptions, treatment or therapy. Access to 24/7 Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) through WeCare and unlimited access to dental advice. Bike‑to‑work scheme.
  • Time Off: 25 days holiday per year plus bank holidays, birthday off, extra day per year worked after 2 years (up to 5 days). After 4 years eligible for sabbatical policy up to 3 months unpaid.
