We're looking for a Pre-Sales Engineer who is motivated to help customers solve complex problems and deliver excellent customer experiences. You will be a part of the Client Services team and work in close partnership with Sales, taking ownership of customer demonstrations and supporting pre‑sales engagement, acting as the essential bridge between our prospects' challenges and our solutions.
You’ll collaborate closely with our Solution teams, also part of the Client Services team, to bring deep technical expertise into customer conversations at the right moment, ensuring every prospect interaction is both compelling and credible. Based in the UK, you'll also play a key role in supporting our US customer base, with regular coverage across the Eastern timezone.
Your Experience
- A mindset that's both hands‑on (happy to do the work now) and scalable (thinking about how to do it better at volume)
- Proven experience in a Pre‑Sales Engineer, Sales Engineer, or Solutions Consultant role
- Experience leading and delivering product demonstrations end‑to‑end and tailoring them to different audiences (technical and non‑technical)
- Experience managing the full pre‑sales cycle from discovery, demo, proof of concept, and handover to delivery
Technical Credibility
- Sufficient technical depth to hold meaningful conversations with both business stakeholders and technical buyers
- Ability to work alongside Solution Architects without duplicating their role, knowing when to lead and when to hand over
- Familiarity with the relevant technology stack
- Experience working closely with Sales teams and contributing to proposals or RFP responses
Communication & Presence
- Strong presentation and storytelling skills
- Able to communicate effectively with senior stakeholders
- This role includes regular collaboration with US‑based customers and will require flexibility in working hours
- Understanding of how pre‑sales activity directly influences pipeline and revenue
- Ability to translate customer pain points into a compelling solution narrative
