We are on the search for a passionate, dynamic and charismatic individual to join us at our London Central Support as Regional Marketing Director. We are looking for a creative and commercially-astute marketing professional to lead our regional marketing activity in line with the commercial objectives for each hotel. You will be responsible for developing and executing the marketing, PR and partnerships plans for all managed hotels in the portfolio, crafting compelling campaigns and content that align with both the YOTEL brand vision and hotel/regional goals.
At an exciting time of growth for the company, you will work alongside the Brand, Sales, Revenue and Digital teams to define and deliver marketing tactics that will drive hotel performance and increase regional brand awareness in UK/Europe, Asia and US. This will include creating tactical promotions and packages for hotels and identifying the relevant promotional channels per campaign, liaising with all relevant departments to execute.
Working closely with hotel General Managers, F&B and Sales teams, you will guide the delivery of on-property activations, build relationships with local partners, and manage property-level external agencies. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced marketer who thrives on collaboration and communication to deliver integrated campaigns that will directly contribute to the performance of our hotels.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement the local and regional marketing plan for all managed hotels to deliver integrated campaigns across social, PR, brand partnerships, on-property and other offline channels and achieve measurable KPIs.
- Create tactical campaigns, promotions and packages to align with hotel/regional commercial needs and identify relevant promotional channels, liaising with Brand, Sales and Digital teams as relevant to ensure timely activation.
- Support Brand team to deliver brand awareness campaigns at local/regional level.
- Support hotel F&B teams by activating relevant programming and promotions on owned and earned channels.
- Identify and manage requirements for local/regional external agency support (PR and social) in partnership with Brand team.
- Lead hotel PR – including press releases, media relations & activations – in partnership with the Snr. Director Communications.
- Manage hotel-specific photography and videography requirements (campaign / interiors / lifestyle / sales), working with Brand team to create briefs and ensuring brand standards.
- Manage all hotel and F&B content across YOTEL owned channels (including website, social media & newsletter).
- Manage hotel content on OTAs and other third-party sites.
- Final approval on hotel collateral and design assets (including posters, factsheets and menus).
Skills required to be successful in the role
Essential:
- Excellent written English.
- Marketing or PR experience in-house or agency.
- Efficient across Microsoft Office.
- Proven track record of developing and implementing integrated marketing / communications plan(s).
- Demonstrated project management experience involving complex projects with multiple internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to travel.
Desired:
- PR and social media management experience, or experience managing PR and social agencies.
- Experience with CMS and social media content platforms.
- Understanding of digital marketing and managing paid social efforts.
- Experience working across multiple global markets and regions.
- Understanding of hotel operations and commercial functions.
