We are looking for a dynamic and customer-focused Hotel Reception Supervisor to join our team at YOTEL Manchester Deansgate. We are looking for a superstar night receptionist to join our Mission Control team. Fantastic customer service skills are a must. A knowledge of the local area to support guests as needed is desired. Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and support the reception team, ensuring high standards of guest service.
- Oversee check-in and check-out procedures, ensuring a seamless experience for guests.
- Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and special requests professionally and efficiently.
- Train, mentor, and assist in the development of front desk staff.
- Monitor room availability, rates, and reservations to optimize occupancy and revenue.
- Ensure accurate billing and payment processes.
- Maintain a welcoming and professional atmosphere at the reception area.
- Collaborate with other hotel departments to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Enforce hotel policies and procedures, including health and safety regulations.
What We're Looking For:
- Previous experience in a hotel reception or front office role, preferably in a supervisory position for a minimum of 1 year.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Proficiency in hotel management software (e.g., Opera, Fidelio) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to multitask, remain calm under pressure, and solve problems effectively.
- Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
