We're looking for a proactive and hands-on Maintenance Crew Member to join our team. You'll be someone who enjoys solving problems, takes pride in your work and isn't afraid to roll up your sleeves. Whether it's carrying out preventative maintenance, responding to guest requests or supporting improvement projects, no two days are ever the same. A snapshot of your key responsibilities:
- Carrying out planned preventative maintenance throughout the hotel.
- Responding promptly to reactive maintenance requests from guests and departments.
- Completing basic repairs including plumbing, decorating, joinery, lighting and general building maintenance.
- Supporting contractors whilst ensuring hotel health and safety procedures are followed.
- Conducting regular safety inspections and reporting any defects or hazards.
- Maintaining accurate maintenance records and updating internal systems.
- Assisting with room maintenance to minimise rooms out of order.
- Supporting energy efficiency initiatives and helping maintain the overall appearance of the hotel.
- Ensuring tools, equipment and maintenance areas are kept clean, organised and safe.
- Working closely with all hotel departments to deliver an exceptional guest experience.
What we're looking for:
- Previous experience in hotel maintenance, facilities or a similar maintenance role preferred.
- Good all-round maintenance skills with basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, painting and carpentry.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Ability to prioritise workload in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills and a team-first approach.
- Flexible to work a variety of shifts including weekends and evenings.
