We are looking for someone to join our Housekeeping team as Night Public Area Cleaner. At YOTEL, we deliver a different kind of stay - smartly designed spaces and a tech-forward approach that gives guests everything they need and nothing they don't. As part of our Housekeeping team, you'll be responsible for ensuring all guest-facing and back-of-house areas are kept clean, tidy, and looking their best throughout the day. You'll create a welcoming, hygienic, and safe environment for both guests and team members.
Key Responsibilities- Clean and maintain all public areas including the reception, corridors, lifts, stairs, guest toilets etc.
- Regularly check high-traffic areas to ensure standards are consistently met throughout shift.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety concerns promptly.
- Ensure all surfaces, floors, glass, and fixtures are clean and free from dust or marks.
- Support team members and communicate effectively with the wider YOTEL team.
- Follow all health and safety, COSHH, and hygiene guidelines.
- Always maintain a friendly and professional attitude with guests and colleagues.
- Experience in a housekeeping or cleaning role, ideally in a hotel or high-footfall environment.
- A positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Great attention to detail and high standards.
- Reliable, and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Understanding of health and safety procedure.
- Good time management and must be available for overnight working.
