The Asset Delivery PMO are a key part of how we plan to meet the changing expectations of customers and regulators.
In AMP8, Asset Delivery PMO will support a multi-billion pound programme of capital investment across YW’s clean and wastewater assets. The Capital Programme is growing by over 50% with strong efficiency targets.
We need an experienced project manager to deliver projects and lead continuous improvement initiatives which add value to our Asset Delivery teams and Yorkshire Water, enabling to success of the programme.
Where you fit in:
As our Project Manager – PMO;
- You will have key accountability for the successful management and delivery of the projects under your control to deliver to the business requirements including time, cost, quality, governance controls, health and safety and environmental targets and that any opportunities are realised to improve performance.
- You will implement well and manage risks, opportunities, progress and provide robust status reporting.
- You will provide quality outputs to support your projects and change, excellence in planning, process and change documentation.
- You will be an excellent communicator and a strong influencing manager of your stakeholders.
- You will relentlessly seek continuous improvement in the business and your ways of working.
- You will be comfortable working at pace on multiple projects and change initiatives.
What skills & qualifications you will need:
- Strong background in projects spanning technology, process and operations.
- Experience in continuous improvement delivery
- Proven stakeholder and relationship management skills and experience.
- Ability to deal with challenges and plan mitigation, continuously striving for best practise performance.
- Strong experience in sustainable delivery which is successfully embedded into the BAU.
- Clear and creative communication skills.
- In-depth knowledge, understanding and experience of a high-performing PMO function.
