Operational Finance Reporting Specialist

Location: Buttershaw, Bradford/ Hybrid Working (1-2 days in the office a week)

Work type: Permanent. 37 hours per week, Monday Friday.

We have an exciting opportunity for an Operational Finance Reporting Specialist to join the Finance team at Yorkshire Water and be a part of helping Yorkshire Water to provide the best service to our customers. Could this be you?

Where you fit in:

As our Operational Finance Reporting Specialist, you will:

  • Build reports to monitor and measure key performance metrics.
  • Identify reporting requirements and provide meaningful commentary to management.
  • Identify and drive process/system improvements through reporting analysis whilst understanding the impact on the systems and the teams within Procure to Pay and the wider business.
  • Complete the Payment performance reporting (statutory reporting).
  • Analyse reports and provide meaningful insights to management on future improvement opportunities.

What skills & qualifications you will need:

  • Proficient in?Power BI?for data visualisation, reporting, and performance analysis.
  • Strong background in?business process continuous improvement, with a focus on efficiency and innovation.
  • Comprehensive understanding of?SAP S/4HANA, including core business modules and integration.
  • In-depth experience with?SAP Ariba, particularly in procurement and supplier management.
  • Tenacious and resourceful problem-solver, able to work independently.
  • Commercially focused with a track record of delivering results.
  • Experience with Power BI or similar data visualisation tools.

You will also benefit from having:

  • Strong, demonstrable skills with Microsoft Office Suite / Office 365
  • Proven ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
