Location: This role will initially be based in Bradford but we’re moving our office to Leeds Valley Park later this year, so you’ll be based there in the future – Hybrid Working (1-2 office a week depending on business needs – Bradford/Leeds)

Work type: Permanent. 37 hours per week, Monday – Friday.

Responsibilities

  • Looking after the brand — making sure everything we deliver is brand compliant and consistently high quality, and that the content and information is simple, enabling us to create connections with our audiences to help drive trust and awareness
  • Keeping things focused and moving — helping the team stay clear on priorities, balancing workloads and making sure the right work gets done at the right time
  • Seeking and implementing better ways of working — simplifying processes and improving systems so workflows run smoothly with less friction and more efficiency
  • Building strong relationships across the business — working closely with stakeholders, being a trusted voice and speaking up when something doesn’t feel right for the brand or the customer
  • Working closely with our external partners — helping agencies and suppliers deliver great work that’s on brief, on budget and aligned with what we stand for
  • Reporting and insights to drive improvements — looking at what’s working (and what isn’t) so we can keep getting better and making a bigger impact
  • Keeping things clear and accountable with the right brand governance — making sure we’re organised, compliant, using budgets smartly and doing things in a way that works for the business, our customers and the environment

Qualifications

  • Strong experience in brand communications through applying brand and tone of voice guidelines across a range of channels and audiences
  • Experience leading people, with a supportive, motivating style that helps teams grow and do their best work
  • Experience in closely managing workflow and priorities of a busy team week-to-week
  • Confidence creating clear, engaging, customer-focused content — from campaigns to everyday communications — with great writing and editing skills
  • A sharp eye for design and detail, with experience delivering creative work and/or developing brand(s) through collaborating with agencies or in‑house teams
  • The ability to stay organised and keep things moving, even when there’s a lot going on — juggling priorities and managing projects with ease
  • Good judgement, strong communication skills and the confidence to influence and challenge when needed
  • Comfortable working with data and insights to understand what’s working and where we can improve

Bonus Skills

  • Experience running an in‑house studio or working closely with agency teams
  • Hands‑on experience with tools like Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator)
