Location: This role will initially be based in Bradford but we’re moving our office to Leeds Valley Park in summer 2026, so you’ll be based there in the future - Hybrid Working (3 days in office a week – Bradford/Leeds).

Work type: Permanent. 37 hours per week, Monday – Friday.

The Technology function are a key part of how we plan to meet the changing expectations of customers and regulators. We’re looking for a curious and driven Business Analyst to support transformational change across the Yorkshire Water portfolio. You’ll work with stakeholders to gather and document requirements, define acceptance criteria, and ensure alignment with business goals and standards. This role requires a strong understanding of business processes and operating models, with the ability to identify opportunities for sustainable change.

Where you fit in: As our Business Analyst you will:

  • Lead business analysis across multiple change initiatives, translating business needs into clear, actionable requirements
  • Produce specifications for IT solutions including UI design, data models, process changes, and interfaces
  • Apply requirements engineering techniques such as elicitation, analysis, validation, documentation, and traceability
  • Use stakeholder interviews, workshops, and surveys to capture accurate requirements
  • Develop AS - IS and TO-BE process models and support gap analysis for transition planning
  • Manage stakeholder communications across all levels
  • Ensure User Acceptance Testing is completed and support related testing activities
  • Contribute to the delivery of effective, fit-for-purpose business solutions
