Location: Bradford/ Hybrid Working (typically 1 day in the office per week). Work type: Permanent role. Working full time, 37 hours per week, Monday - Friday between a working window of 8:00am-6:00pm.
We have an exciting opportunity for a Lead Internal Communications and Engagement Advisor to join us in our multi-award winning Internal Communications and Engagement team and be a part of helping us achieve our people strategy, ensuring we have highly engaged, motivated and productive colleagues.

Where you fit in: As our Lead Internal Communications & Engagement Advisor you will:
- Be the strategic lead and accountable for communications and engagement plan for our internal communications activity (from day-to-day to company-wide campaigns and projects).
- Build brilliant relationships closely with our stakeholders across the business to plan communications activity to make sure colleagues hear the right message at the right time and in the right way.
- Manage a team of internal communications experts to be their best and support business outcomes through personal and professional development, delivering effective content and unlocking success through measurable goals.
- Support the Internal Communications and Engagement Manager to manage the internal communications plan and establish clear and mature communication processes.
- Support our regular reporting process, developing reports on how our content is performing across our channels and campaigns to help us track and measure the success of our communications.
- Coordinate effective measurement and reporting of communications and engagement activity across our day-to-day and forward facing communications activity.
- Own and continuously develop our communications plans to make sure the whole team are delivering on our commitments to colleagues and stakeholders.
- Lead on improving our ways of working and governance processes to improve the effectiveness of how we deliver informative and engaging communications that supports and embeds our company strategy and our behaviours.
- Own the forward plan across multiple projects and campaigns to ensure we're speaking to the right people, at the right time and in the right way.
- Oversee our channel advisors planning and scheduling activity across our channel framework.
- Be a key liaison in the award-winning relationship with our creative agencies to manage workloads and project spend.
- Be a key part of our quality control process, providing a senior pair of eyes across copy, branding, tone of voice and more.
- Help maintain a perfect record across our governance and compliance goals within the IC team.
- Track monthly spend across our campaigns and event activity.
- Manage relationships with stakeholders at a senior and local level.
What skills & qualifications you will need:
- Significant experience as an internal communications professional.
- Highly experienced in managing and delivering strategic communications plans around change and transformation projects.
- Ability to develop and maintain effective internal relationships at all levels, especially with senior leaders and also be able to influence decisions and build relationships at all levels of the organisation.
- Passionate about leading and developing others with an ability to inspire others through development, goal setting and trusted relationships to help them bring their best.
- Dedicated to maintaining a high standard of work and the ability to take the initiative, be proactive and to take decisions on prioritising workload for themselves and their team. Also able to work under pressure, with excellent skills in planning and prioritisation.
- Highly experienced in measuring and reporting communications and engagement activity and experience of communications strategy development, planning and delivery.
- A proven track record of delivering effective internal communications and engagement campaigns with significant results.
- Excellent skills in relation to internal channels and content publishing.
- Excellent knowledge of a range of listening and analytical tools.
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to use Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
- Ability to develop personal skills whilst supporting team growth.
- Highly experienced in creative writing and proof-reading.
- A thorough understanding of what great communications and engagement looks like with a track record in achieving positive outcomes for audiences and a creative mind that can improve how we communicate and engage different audiences.
