Location: This role will initially be based in Bradford but we are moving our office to Leeds Valley Park in summer 2026, so you'll be based there in the future - (5 office a week Bradford/Leeds)

Work type: Permanent. 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

This varied, hands-on role offers the opportunity to support meetings and events, maintain high workplace standards, and deliver excellent customer service across the site. We're looking for a proactive, organised individual who enjoys working as part of a team, takes pride in their work, and is passionate about providing a first-class workplace experience.

Where you fit in:

As our Building Controller you will:

• Oversee daily meeting room requirements, ensuring rooms are set up and maintained to a high standard.
• Liaise with the Events Coordinator to support meetings and events.
• Maintain client areas, meeting rooms, entrances, and tea points to a professional standard.
• Manage meeting room bookings, special requests, and minor room reconfigurations.
• Replenish stationery, printer supplies, and workplace consumables.
• Support catering setup and delivery for meetings and events.
• Manage the basement and bin stores, ensuring they remain organised and accessible.
• Escalate significant issues or concerns to the Workplace Experience Manager or Events Coordinator.
• Conduct site headcounts and support event parking management when required.
• Service boardroom coffee machines and ensure waste and smoking areas are kept clean and tidy.
• Support the movement of equipment, supplies, and goods between sites as required.
• Build strong relationships with customers, colleagues, and stakeholders.
• Prioritise workloads effectively and comply with company policies and procedures.
• Maintain high standards of health, safety, and wellbeing.
• Participate in training, team meetings, and continuous improvement activities.
• Demonstrate company values and work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Support the delivery of workplace, meeting, and event services across the business.

What skills & qualifications you will need:

• Hold a full UK driving licence.
• Experience supporting meeting rooms, events, or workplace environments.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to follow policies, procedures, and service standards.
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workloads effectively.
• The ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately.
• Practical and proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Strong teamwork and relationship-building skills.
• Flexible and adaptable approach to changing business needs.
• The ability to build positive working relationships and collaborate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders.
• To hold a Banksman qualification.
• Awareness of Health & Safety regulations within workplace environments.
• Experience in facilities, workplace experience, or customer service environments.
