Location: Process Operators required at sites in Northallerton, Colburn, Harrogate and Bradford. Applicants should live within a reasonable commute of these areas.
Work type: Permanent roles, 37 hours per week, Monday to Sunday. Working hours 06:00‑22:00 with planned rota covering evenings, weekends and bank holidays. Standby rota after training may include overnight or weekend callouts.

Where you fit in: As a Process Operator you are part of a hardworking operational team on site, ensuring everything runs smoothly, complies with regulatory standards, protects the environment and delivers reliable service. Your duties will include tasks such as:
- Responding to RTS alarms and pollution incidents.
- Gathering evidence at suspected pollution incidents.
- Lifting, checking and unblocking pumps.
- Sampling, examining results and troubleshooting sample‑related issues.
- Raising follow‑on work for internal support services.
What skills, experience and training you will need:
- A practical, hands‑on mindset and willingness to work outdoors in all weathers.
- Resilience and a positive attitude towards challenging work.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good time‑management to plan your day and manage workload.
- Confidence to raise safety concerns.
- Problem‑solving approach and positive attitude.
- Basic IT skills for recording information on a Toughbook.
- Full UK driving licence (no more than 6 points).
You will also benefit from having previous knowledge or experience of wastewater operations (not essential, will be taught).
