Yorkshire Water provides essential water and wastewater services to over 5.4 million residents and visitors across the Yorkshire region. The Finance function plays a key role in meeting customer and regulator expectations and driving technology improvements.
What you will do
- Leverage existing technology to maximise system capabilities for business benefit
- Review P2P and O2C system functionality, providing recommendations and driving improvement projects
- Develop and deliver P2P training, promoting user adoption and data integrity
- Develop medium‑term system roadmaps with IT, aligning with evolving SAP technologies
- Coordinate P2P and O2C improvement projects and rollouts
- Manage SAP Concur Travel and Expense system, including updates and reporting
- Communicate system updates and future plans to users
- Build and maintain strong relationships across the business and with external partners
- Provide support to the Master Data Team for data quality, controls and governance
- Produce and maintain performance dashboards, working with Reporting Specialists
- Collaborate to deliver reporting and insight aligned with strategic objectives
- Plan resources and workloads to ensure high‑quality service delivery
- Communicate updates and performance discussions through meetings, 1:1s, hub attendance and career development conversations
Qualifications & Skills
- Hands‑on experience with SAP and SAP Ariba, able to maximise system capabilities
- Proven track record delivering P2P system solutions and shaping roadmaps
- Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills, collaborating to find solutions and making informed decisions
- In‑depth knowledge of end‑to‑end P2P processes and systems
- Solid understanding of system interfaces and integration to support seamless operations
