We are looking for a Storm Overflow Project Engineers to develop and deliver capital interventions aimed at reducing the frequency, volume, and impact of storm overflows on the water environment. This role will help improve Yorkshire Water's performance against EPA and ODI metrics for storm overflows.

As our Storm Overflow Project Engineer, you will:
- Collaborate with Operations, River Health, and Delivery Partners to develop cost-effective capital solutions for storm overflow reductions.
- Ensure proposed interventions meet company standards and regulatory obligations without negatively impacting customer service or company targets.
- Oversee the safe and timely delivery of capital interventions within the agreed scope and budget.
- Track and record performance improvements from delivered interventions and integrate learnings into future projects.
- Promote innovative spill reduction methods and work collaboratively with suppliers and partners to enhance efficiency.
- Identify and address asset risks or opportunities through proactive collaboration with operational teams and Flow/Spill Specialists.
- Ensure unfunded spill risks are mitigated and tracked appropriately.
What skills & qualifications you will need:
Essential
- Experience in wastewater management with a solid understanding of wastewater network and/or treatment processes.
- Experience in scoping and delivering projects and/or on-site solutions.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations and requirements relevant to delivering work on operational sites.
- Familiarity with operating within a regulated industry or framework.
- Excellent stakeholder management and collaborative working skills.
- Ability to work comfortably and influence across multiple levels of the business and externally.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
