Location: This role will initially be based in Bradford but will move to Leeds Valley Park in September 2026, with a hybrid working arrangement in place, a mix of office and home working. We work 3 days in the office per week.
Work type: Permanent. Working hours are full time, working 37 hours per week between the working window of 8:00am-6:00pm Monday to Friday.
We have an exciting opportunity for a Forecast & Planning Specialist to join the Performance & Planning team at Yorkshire Water and be a part of helping Yorkshire Water to provide the best service to our customers.

We provide essential water and wastewater services to every corner of the Yorkshire region, ensuring that over 5.4 million people living in the region can rely on our services, and have clean and safe drinking water on tap.
Where you fit in:
As Forecast & Planning Specialist, you will play a key role in ensuring that our Customer Management Centre has the correct resource allocation in place, based on accurate forecasting and planning, to achieve our required service levels and meet our customers' needs. You will develop close working relationships across the Customer Management Centre to enable accuracy when forecasting, manage any variance to plan, and highlight key risks.
What skills are we looking for?
- Proven analytical skills, able to interpret complex data and translate insights into clear, actionable decisions.
- Proven experience in a busy, fast-paced environment, with strong organisational skills and the ability to adapt quickly to shifting priorities.
- Confidence in planning and managing your own workload effectively.
- Ideally, experience with workforce management systems such as Alvaria/Aspect (training provided if required).
- A clear and confident communicator, able to build strong relationships, influence stakeholders, and promote the right culture and behaviours.
- Proactive in seeking opportunities to improve processes and drive efficiencies.
- Solid IT proficiency, including Microsoft Office tools.
