Retail Store Supervisor – Penrith Store
The position is based in Penrith and offers an exciting opportunity to support a bustling retail team.
Work schedule: 32 hours over 4 days, with some weekend rota shifts. Flexibility is required, as additional hours may be needed during busy periods.
Duties
- Assist the store manager in day‑to‑day store operations.
- Act as deputy manager and key holder when the store manager is absent.
- Support training and management of retail colleagues, including cashiers and the replenishment team.
- Maintain store displays, stock rotation and put‑away.
- Stay up to date with all products, services and promotions.
- Handle customer questions, complaints and issues.
- Direct customers to racks and counters, suggesting items and delivering traditional customer service.
- Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Perform cash‑up duties as required.
- Ensure pricing is correct and store is tidy.
- Maintain a tidy work environment.
Essential Skills
- Previous supervisory or people‑management experience (training provided if not).
- Retail experience and knowledge of cash‑up procedures advantageous.
- Computer literate.
- Desire to achieve high standards and deliver excellent customer service.
