Job Description

Contract Support Manager – to cover the Midlands

Yorkshire Talent Partners are recruiting for a service sector business who have their Head Office on the outskirts of Rotherham, South Yorkshire. As a business, they are growing year on year and have a strong growth plan for the next 5 years. This growth plan includes the recruitment of various new people including a Contract Support Manager, to work under the Contracts Director and cover clients within the Midlands region, spending around 80% of the time travelling between sites and the rest working between home and the Rotherham office.

Working with an existing portfolio of contracts/clients, the Contract Support Manager will be required to travel to meet with both the clients and business colleagues to ensure the smooth running of your region. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is commercially aware, has a full driving licence, is comfortable commuting daily, and can work comfortably on MS Office. The ideal candidate will live within the Midlands region.

Duties of the Contract Support Manager include:

  • Conduct assignment surveys and risk assessments
  • Maintain accurate documentation and records using Microsoft Office
  • Agree assignment instructions with the client including the Service Level Agreement and review annually thereafter
  • Complete Practice vs Procedures (PVP) audits to ensure any operational drift is identified and addressed
  • Complete surveys of all customer sites
  • Complete site key checks
  • Dealing with Health & Safety reports and RIDDOR
  • Prepare summaries and KPI’s for specific sites as specified in the Service Level Agreement and present to customers
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and company policies
  • Manage a large team of staff based across multiple sites

The ideal Contract Support Manager will:

  • Have excellent customer service and communication skills, both over the phone and face to face
  • Have man management experience
  • Have a valid driving license for site visits and client meetings in and around the Midlands
  • Have the ability to work from the Rotherham office as and when required
  • Have good administration skills including the use of MS Office
  • Have the ability to be able to present information to clients
  • Have the ability to be able to work on bank holidays as and when required

This position would suit a graduate with a couple of years working experience, who would like to grow and develop within a business. There is excellent 2-3 month onboarding for this position, where you will work within different departments including HR, sales, accounts, and shadowing colleagues on site. This ensures a full understanding of how the business operates. The progression of this position is onto a Contract Manager.
