Yorkshire Precision Engineering Ltd are a successful busy Sub Contract Engineering Company and are looking for an experienced CNC Turner Setter Operator, offering excellent rates of pay to the right candidate.

Job Description

  • Setting and Operating CNC Fixed head Lathes (Miyano BNJ 42SY / Doosan Puma TT1800SY, Miyano BNE65MYY, Miyano BNJ 51SY)
  • Working to tight tolerances
  • Producing high precision batch work components anywhere from 50 off to 2500 off.
  • Setting and Operating using Fanuc Controls
  • Producing parts from various general engineering and exotic materials

Skills Required

  • Setting and Operating CNC Fixed head Lathes
  • Experience using twin spindle lathes is an advantage
  • (The ability to program is advantageous but not essential)
  • Previous experience working within a high precision manufacturing environment.
  • The ability to read and interpret engineering drawings

Benefits

  • 200 hours holiday per year (23 days) + statutory holidays
  • Every 3 years service 10 hours holiday added.
  • 4 Day Week – working 40 hours per week Monday‑Thursday 6:30 am to 5:00 pm noon
  • Yearly appraisals

  • Pay is monthly, wage dependent on skill level
