Trusts Administrator – York

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Trusts Administrator to join a highly regarded tax & trusts team within a leading regional law firm.

You will work closely with experienced professionals to support a busy department advising on trusts, estate planning, wills, probate, and lasting powers of attorney.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare trust, estate and income tax returns.
  • Submit trust registration service (TRS) filings.
  • Create and manage trust accounts.
  • Complete R185 and IHT100 forms.
  • Provide administrative support across a broad range of tax and trust matters.
  • Part‑time working also considered.

Qualifications

  • Experience preparing trust, estate and income tax returns.
  • Experience managing TRS requirements.
  • Ability to prepare trust accounts and complete R185 and IHT100 forms.
  • Solid knowledge of personal tax, trust taxation and capital gains tax.
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
  • Proactive, self‑motivated and able to work effectively in a busy, supportive team.
