A well-established Yorkshire law firm is looking to recruit a Private Client Paralegal to join its friendly and supportive team in Barnsley. The Role
- You will work closely with experienced fee earners and partners, providing support across a broad range of Private Client matters including wills, probate and estate planning.
- The role offers a varied workload and the opportunity to gain hands-on experience within a collaborative and forward-thinking team.
Key responsibilities
- Supporting fee earners with the progression of Private Client files
- Drafting legal documents including Wills and Lasting Powers of Attorney
- Handling client enquiries and maintaining excellent client care standards
- Corresponding with clients, third parties and external organisations
- Opening and closing files in line with firm procedures
- Carrying out legal research and investigative work where required
- Maintaining accurate records and internal communications
- Assisting with general administrative tasks including filing and document preparation
- Promoting the firm’s services in a professional manner
About You
- The successful candidate will demonstrate:
- Previous legal experience, ideally within a Private Client department
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- Good IT and word processing ability
