Commercial Manager (Public Sector) in Manchester

We’re are seeking experienced Senior Commercial Leads to provide strategic, enterprise‑level commercial leadership.

This role focuses on shaping delivery models, strengthening governance, and overseeing commercial and procurement activity within a complex, multi‑stakeholder environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide strategic commercial leadership across a major digital programme
• Support delivery model assessment at programme and enterprise level
• Influence and challenge senior stakeholders (Director level and below)
• Ensure robust governance, assurance, and compliance
• Oversee end‑to‑end procurement activity
• Operate effectively in a high‑assurance, high‑visibility environment

Essential Experience

• Hands‑on HMT Green Book business cases
• Exposure to Public Accounts 2023
• Large‑scale public sector programme experience
• End‑to‑end commercial and procurement lifecycle knowledge
• Strong experience with CCS frameworks
• Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders
