As Conflicts Manager, you'll oversee the day‑to‑day running of the conflicts team, ensuring the efficient assessment and resolution of conflicts queries while maintaining the highest regulatory and professional standards. You'll act as a key point of escalation for complex matters, partner closely with senior compliance stakeholders, and drive continuous improvements across systems, processes and team performance.

  • Leading and developing a team of conflicts professionals
  • Managing workflow, resource planning and service levels
  • Advising on complex legal conflicts and information barrier requirements
  • Escalating high‑risk and technically challenging matters where required
  • Delivering training, coaching and ongoing development across the team
  • Driving process improvements and operational efficiencies
  • Building strong relationships with lawyers and business stakeholders across the firm
  • Supporting strategic Risk & Compliance initiatives and projects

About You

  • Previous law firm conflicts experience
  • Strong knowledge of legal conflicts and the SRA regulatory framework (global experience benefit)
  • Experience managing or mentoring teams
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills
  • The confidence to make risk‑based decisions in a fast‑paced environment
  • A proactive approach to problem solving and process improvement
