Role Overview: You will be responsible for managing a varied caseload of clinical negligence and medical malpractice matters, both pre-litigated and litigated, under appropriate supervision. Key responsibilities include:
- Advising NHS bodies, insurers and private healthcare clients
- Drafting legal documentation and conducting in-depth legal research
- Delivering clear, commercially sound legal advice
- Engaging directly with clients, counsel and expert witnesses
- Contributing to business development and team-wide initiatives
- Supporting and mentoring junior colleagues, as appropriate
Candidate Profile: You will bring:
- 1-5 years' post-qualified experience in clinical negligence or defendant medical malpractice
- Prior experience advising NHS or insurer clients (beneficial but not essential)
