The Role

You will join a growing Commercial Property team, undertaking a wide range of fee-earning work while contributing positively to the firm's ethos and reputation. Working with minimal supervision, you will manage a varied caseload and provide a high standard of client care throughout. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing commercial property matters allocated by the Team Leader in line with agreed procedures and quality standards
  • Progressing client matters efficiently and keeping clients regularly informed on progress and costs
  • Delivering consistently high standards of client care in a professional and approachable manner
  • Ensuring confidentiality and security of all client and firm documentation
  • Meeting agreed personal and team fee targets, including accurate time recording
  • Complying with Solicitors' Accounts Rules and professional conduct requirements
  • Maintaining clear and effective communication with colleagues across the firm
  • Building and maintaining strong working relationships with external organisations and institutions
  • Supporting, supervising and developing support staff where required
  • Taking responsibility for ongoing training and professional development
  • Assisting with in-house training and wider firm development initiatives
  • Actively promoting the firm's services and profile alongside Partners and Team Leaders
  • Handling matters from start to finish, including taking over files partway through
  • Contributing to marketing and business development activities
  • Developing your own caseload with support from the Team Leader

About You

You will ideally have:

  • Admission to the Solicitors' Roll with 4+ years' PQE
  • Strong experience in Commercial Property law
  • Confidence running your own caseload independently
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Solid IT and case management skills
  • A collaborative approach and the ability to work effectively within a team
