The Role
Working alongside an experienced conveyancer, you will play a key role in ensuring transactions progress smoothly from instruction through to completion. Your responsibilities will include:
- Updating estate agents and mortgage brokers by telephone and email
- Handling incoming client enquiries and providing excellent customer service
- Preparing and issuing contract packs
- Assisting with replies to enquiries
- Audio dictation as required
- Preparing and issuing mortgage reports to clients
- Managing incoming post and correspondence
- Requesting mortgage funds, redemption statements and estate agent accounts
- Preparing completion packs, draft bills, completion statements and associated documentation
- Billing, filing, copying and general administrative support
- Providing additional assistance to the conveyancing team where required
About You
To be successful, you will have:
- At least two years' experience within residential conveyancing
- Excellent organisational skills and strong attention to detail
- The ability to manage a busy workload and work effectively under pressure
- Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel
- A proactive approach with the ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
- A genuine commitment to delivering outstanding client service
