Overview

Sustainability Coordinator at Yorkshire Housing

This permanent, full-time role supports the delivery of Yorkshire Housing’s sustainability strategy. You’ll work across the business to embed sustainable thinking into everyday decisions and help the organisation lead in sustainability within housing and the community across Yorkshire.

What you’ll be doing

  • Help us reach net zero by supporting decarbonisation projects and improving the energy performance of our homes
  • Work with customers, colleagues and communities to make sustainability accessible and involve others
  • Lead working groups, support funded projects and help shape how we invest in sustainability now and in the future
  • Build strong partnerships with local authorities, environmental groups and other organisations across Yorkshire
  • Keep us ahead of regulatory changes and ensure we are acting in the best interests of the organisation and the people we serve
  • Champion biodiversity, community cohesion and climate resilience across our housing portfolio

The important bits

This is a permanent, full-time role, offering a salary of £37,500 per annum, for a 35-hour week, plus 26 days annual leave (rising to 31 days) plus Bank Holidays.
