Join to apply for the Resource Planner role at Yorkshire Housing. If you’re a natural organiser who loves turning moving parts into smooth plans — and you care about great customer experiences — this role is your chance to make a visible impact across our neighbourhoods. We’re after a Resource Planner to join our Estates and Environmental Services team.

What you’ll do:

  • Schedule and optimise estate services work so operatives are in the right place, at the right time, with the right info.
  • Keep us compliant. Start, track and record all estates compliance checks to agreed schedules, with clear audit trails and follow ups.
  • Stay calm when plans change. Re prioritise in real time for emergencies, cancellations or overruns — keeping services on track and customers updated.
  • Be systems smart. Triage and action tasks using Outlook, Salesforce inboxes and EBIS.
  • Coordinate with colleagues and subcontractors, making sure job information and certifications are complete and accurate.
  • Keep our records shipshape! Maintain planning trackers and scheduling systems with up to date, accurate information.

Basically, you’ll keep our estates safe, compliant and running like clockwork.

What you’ll bring:

  • Experience in scheduling/resource planning (estates, facilities, housing or similar).
  • Cool head under pressure — you can juggle priorities and solve problems on the fly.
  • Clear, confident communication with customers and colleagues.
  • A continuous‑improvement mindset: you notice patterns, spot risks and improve how we plan.

You’ll join a friendly, purpose‑led organisation that backs flexible, modern working and puts customers at the heart of decisions. Expect supportive colleagues, meaningful work and opportunities to grow.

This is a full-time (35 hours per week) permanent opportunity with a salary of £30,218.12, for a 35 hour week plus 26 days annual leave (rising annually to 30 days) plus Bank Holidays.

We offer a reward package to suit everyone. At YH, you can claim back for prescriptions, eye tests and more with our cash plan, make the most of a variety of retail discounts and take advantage of our pension scheme where we’ll match your contributions up to 9%, just to name a few.

Our people’s health and wellbeing are one of our top priorities, and you can make the most of our readily available wellbeing support package. This includes access to a library of free fitness classes, as well as an instant My GP service and free counselling sessions with a trained professional.

At YH, we’re actively building a working environment that’s inclusive as well as diverse, where everyone can contribute their best work and be themselves.
