Are you a skilled Gas Engineer looking for a role where your work genuinely makes a difference? Join our fantastic Gas Team at Yorkshire Housing, working mainly in the Leeds and Bradford area, though occasionally supporting customers right across Yorkshire—helping keep homes safe and warm.
We’re offering a salary of £42,000 per year (£21.53/hour) for a 37.5-hour week, with opportunities for call‑out and overtime to boost your earnings. You’ll enjoy 26 days of annual leave, rising to 31 with service, plus bank holidays.

In this role, you’ll carry out annual gas services, safety checks, and boiler repairs and maintenance across our homes, following all the relevant regulations and Yorkshire Housing policies. You’ll be the friendly face our customers see, so great communication and a warm, professional approach are key. We aim to resolve issues on the first visit wherever possible, and you’ll work closely with our compliance team to make sure everything’s done safely and to a high standard.
We’re looking for someone who has:
- At least two years’ experience servicing and maintaining domestic heating systems
- ACS Certificates: CCN1, CENWAT, HTR1 & CKR1 (or equivalent)
- Confidence working independently and solving problems
