This position includes work primarily in North and North East Lincolnshire. This post will support primary care professionals and practice teams across North Lincolnshire.

Experience

  • Experience in proposing changes in conjunction with working groups which have wider implications for performance and service policy.
  • Experience of partnership working and the ability to develop sustainable relationships with key bodies and individuals.
  • Experience in persuading stakeholders of the importance of projects including negotiating and motivating others and linking in with other initiatives.
  • Experience in analysing, interpreting and communicating complex and sensitive facts and information about performance and change and presenting information to stakeholders.
  • Experience of breaking down organisational barriers, managing conflicting opinions or demands to ensure appropriate outcomes for patients.
  • Knowledge of the practical application of the principles of change management and workforce redesign.
  • Knowledge of project management.
  • Experience of working in areas of deprivation.
  • Knowledge of community engagement.
  • Experience of group work.
  • Experience of working across various settings.
  • Knowledge of Cancer support organisations available.

Skills Knowledge and Abilities

  • Ability to analyse and interpret information and to make judgements where there are conflicting views to support decisions on complex issues.
  • Ability to disseminate information appropriately and to share knowledge and experience with other members of the team.
  • Excellent organisational skills.
  • Excellent communication skills including the ability to persuade, influence and motivate others.
  • Ability to organise and evaluate data and audit own work area.
  • Ability to analyse, interpret and formally present in-depth health information and to construct correspondence and reports for various audiences, demonstrating high levels of accuracy and presentation.
  • Computer literate - experience of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel to at least intermediate level, including ability to develop and manipulate spreadsheets.
  • Ability to use IT software to effectively collect and analyse data and to present and create reports and presentations in a meaningful way.
  • Provide advice and guidance sensitively.
  • Work to deadlines prioritising work appropriately.
  • Work flexibly moving from one type of task to another within the same shift.
  • Use Microsoft Office packages proficiently.
  • Some evenings and occasional weekend work required.
  • Ability to prepare creative material.
