Step into a role where no two days are the same, and where you’ll inspire, motivate, and lead a team delivering smiles (and snacks!) every day! At our Tingley site, you’ll take the reins of a buzzing catering outlet, ensuring our guests enjoy top-notch service and delicious food in a welcoming, clean, and safe environment. From managing the day-to-day operations to developing a motivated team and driving sales, you’ll bring your energy, leadership, and passion for people to make every customer visit a memorable one. Plus, you’ll step up to cover the Manager in their absence, making you a vital part of the leadership team. This is a part-time role, working on average hours per week during our 33.625 peak season (school holidays) and 28.625 hours per week off-peak, including alternate weekends.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Overseeing the smooth daily running of our busy catering operation
  • Training, developing, and inspiring your team to deliver first-class service
  • Maintaining the highest standards of food safety, hygiene, and presentation
  • Keeping on top of stock, placing orders, and reducing waste
  • Handling rotas, timesheets, and holiday requests to keep everything running seamlessly
  • Monitoring visitor areas to ensure they stay sparkling clean and welcoming
  • Leading by example to handle any customer concerns in line with our Values
  • Motivating the team to smash weekly sales targets
  • Conducting performance reviews and supporting growth and development
  • Covering the Manager’s duties during their absence to ensure continuity
  • Securing and closing down the site to keep everyone safe
  • Building positive relationships with colleagues across the business
