Role Overview

We are seeking a personable, commercially minded Finance Manager, responsible for the finance operation of Potters Farm Production LLP and provide support/cover for Yorkshire Farmhouse Eggs Limited. Ensuring accurate and timely processing, reporting and control.

Key Responsibilities

  • Customer and supplier invoice processing, allocated per farm/shed.
  • Management of accounts payable and receivable.
  • Cashflow management, bank payments, postings and reconciliations.
  • Submission of VAT Returns.
  • Preparation of monthly management accounts, flock reports and rearing cost reports.
  • Working with and assisting other Managers and Directors on other general business matters such as payroll, HR, insurance, health and safety.
  • Working closely with and providing cover for accounts on Yorkshire Farmhouse Eggs Limited.
  • Fortnightly payroll summarising timesheets for management approval, updating holidays, setting up payments and accounts journals.
  • Preparation of information and assistance during year end audit.

Qualifications/Experience

  • Experience in a similar role.
  • Industry knowledge and use of departments would be of benefit but not essential.
  • Knowledge of Sage, Xero, BreatheHR and use of excel preferred.
