Are you passionate about social media & ecommerce? Then we’ve got the role for you. The Yorkshire Fabric Shop are looking for a talented Social Media person to join our team to help manage our social media presence. As a Social Media team member, you will be working closely with our Marketing Manager to help implement our Social Media strategy in order to increase our online presence and improve our marketing and sales efforts.

Responsibilities:

  • Product photography and uploading online.
  • Support the Marketing Manager in the day-to-day operations for Yorkshire Fabric Shop’s social media and email platforms.
  • Keep an eye on what is happening in and around the store, capturing content that we can utilise on our platforms.
  • Assist with the generation, editing and publishing of content (e.g. original text, photos, videos, stories).
  • Creating content that promotes audience interaction and encourages audience participation.
  • Be confident to appear on camera talking about the products and services we offer.
  • Communicate with followers, responding to queries in a timely manner and monitor customer reviews.
  • Liaising with Instagram influencers and like-minded accounts and seek opportunities to create and promote content.
  • To act as one of the key points of contact for social media queries, developing a response process and looking to proactively influence these groups.
  • Stay up-to-date with current technologies and trends in social media, design tools and applications.
  • Collaborate with other teams, like marketing, sales and customer service to ensure brand consistency.
  • Proposing new ideas and concepts for social media content.
  • Effectively managing own time and resources to ensure that work is completed efficiently.
  • To work flexibly and carry out additional roles within the company as may be agreed from time to time.

30-40 hours a week spread over 4/5 days. To be discussed and agreed with the right candidate.
