We are seeking passionate EYFS Teaching Assistants for various positions in and around the Goole area. We have both part-time and full-time positions available.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the delivery of engaging and developmentally appropriate learning activities for children in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
- Help create a nurturing, stimulating, and safe environment that promotes exploration, play, and early learning.
- Assist in the personal, social, emotional, and educational development of young children through targeted support and encouragement.
- Work closely with the class teacher and other staff to implement the EYFS framework and contribute to planning, observation, and assessment.
- Support children with personal care needs and help establish routines that foster independence and confidence.
Requirements:
- Relevant childcare or teaching assistant qualification (e.g., Level 2 or 3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning or equivalent). Level 3 is desirable.
- Experience working with children in EYFS or nursery settings.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a warm and patient approach.
- Creativity, enthusiasm, and a genuine passion for supporting early childhood development.
- Understanding of the EYFS framework and safeguarding practices.
