Key Responsibilities:
- Provide 1:1 support to pupils, helping them access the curriculum and reach their full potential.
- Assist the class teacher with the preparation and delivery of engaging lessons.
- Support the learning and development of all pupils in the classroom.
- Help manage classroom behaviour and promote a positive learning environment.
- Contribute to the planning and delivery of fun, safe, and stimulating activities in the After School Club.
- Work collaboratively with staff, parents, and external professionals.
Requirements:
- Experience working with primary-aged children, particularly in Key Stage 2.
- A caring, patient, and proactive approach to supporting children's learning.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to adapt to the needs of individual pupils.
- A relevant qualification (e.g. Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant) is desirable but not essential.
- Willingness to undergo an enhanced DBS check.
