We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic MFL teacher specialising in French and German to work at a secondary school in the Thirsk area. We welcome applications from both early career teachers and experienced practitioners.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging and effective French and German lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
- Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that supports students' confidence and progress.
- Tailor teaching and learning to support individual students' academic and personal development.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to contribute to high-quality MFL provision across partner schools.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Experience teaching French and German at the secondary level
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for languages
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve their best
