Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high‑quality Food Technology lessons that inspire, engage, and motivate students across KS3 and KS4.
- Maintain excellent classroom management, ensuring a safe, supportive, and inclusive learning environment where all students can thrive.
- Plan and deliver creative, practical, and theory‑based lessons that develop students' skills, confidence, and understanding of food preparation, nutrition, and healthy living.
- Build strong relationships with students, colleagues, and families, promoting clear communication and a positive, collaborative school culture.
- Contribute to curriculum planning, assessment, and continuous improvement within the Food Technology department, helping to maintain high standards across the subject area.
Requirements
- QTS
- Experience teaching Food Technology at secondary level, with strong subject knowledge across practical and theory components.
- A solid understanding of safeguarding, curriculum requirements, and best practice in delivering high‑quality Food Technology education.
- Excellent communication, organisational, and classroom‑management skills.
