We are retained by Yorkshire Dairy Goats to appoint a farm manager for a farm in East Yorkshire.

About the Farm:

  • 1500 acre farm which is 15 miles from York.
  • Milking goats and 1,500 followers.
  • 76 point rotary parlour.
  • Good infrastructure for all goats in a central location on the farm.
  • Rural location with good local services and schools.

About You:

  • Previous dairy goat farming experience is not a requirement.
  • Excellent record keeping and ability to analyse and interpret data and work with IT.
  • Large scale dairy farm management experience.

About the Role:

  • Hands-on role to implement the agreed farming policy reporting directly to the directors of the business.
  • Livestock & forage production farm management role.
  • Family house on the farm site.
  • Generous salary, on-farm accommodation plus results-based remuneration.
