YBS has an exciting new opportunity for 2 Programme Managers to join our Change Delivery function. You\’ll be responsible for the design and plans for the assigned projects working with business functions, third parties and stakeholders. You will support and lead the programme team working with the responsible Programme Director (SM – Programme Delivery) and the Director level sponsors.
This role will be based in our Leeds Head Office, with flexible working from home capability.
About the role
- Design the approach and plans for the assigned programme across required projects working with business functions, third parties and stakeholders.
- Support and lead the programme team working with the responsible Senior Manager – Programme Delivery, Executive and Director sponsors.
- Provide clarity to stakeholders on interdependencies, potential alternative approaches and advice on the most expedient way to deliver the change.
- Ensure that all relevant commercial agreements are appropriate, and in line with the agreed Delivery Model and Supplier Relationship Management requirements.
- Be accountable for quality production of the programme artefacts, plans and output to defined quality, cost, and time.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, building solid engagements to create fluid, continuous delivery of change initiatives, supporting business colleagues to interact with Change Delivery.
- Deliver the activity in alignment with the YBS change and compliance frameworks.
- Develop and manage strong relationships with key stakeholders to ensure alignment across the organisation, particularly considering dependencies, assumptions, risks and issues (both inter and intra).
Please note that this is a 12 month fixed term contract role.
About you
- Programme and project management accreditation or experience (MSP, Agile, APM, Prince2).
- Expert knowledge and understanding experience of structured programme and project management techniques.
- Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills with the ability to manage and resolve risk and competing/conflicting priorities.
- Proven programme delivery track record, especially with complex projects/programmes that may involve technology.
- Experience of financial management and control.
