Platform Engineer

Do you want to your platform engineering experience and skills to be part of a major programme of technology transformation and simplification? We have an exciting opportunity for a Platform Engineer to join our Data Platforms – Technology Services team where you’ll provide engineering delivery and operational support across a range of on premise and cloud middleware technologies. This is a hybrid role; remote working, and a small amount of onsite presence in our Bradford office. In addition, there is an on-call rota (approx. 1 week in every 5). About the role As Platform Engineer , you will – Enable the business through the delivery of a wide range of Technologies (on premise and Cloud – SaaS, PaaS, IaaS) Provide 3rd line support services for business-critical production environments (includes on- call rota) Proactively identify and implement process, automation and orchestration as part of CI/CD initiatives Provide IT capacity and performance management services across the associated technology stack, including security vulnerability and application patching Provide appropriate consultancy services to other Group Projects
