Well, if so, an exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Mortgage Advice Team as a Mortgage Manager based in our Bradford Head Office
About the role
As a Mortgage Manager, you will lead a team of Mortgage Advisers who provide bespoke advice to new and existing mortgage customers who choose to deal with us directly.
You will confidently communicate your expectations, group strategies and the overall purpose of the Mortgage Advice Team in a way that makes colleagues feel valued and understand how they can contribute to the success of the YBS group.
In this role, you will provide direction and guidance to enable your team to deliver great customer experiences and suitable customer outcomes. You\'ll do this through ongoing coaching and development within your team ensuring colleagues are equipped with the necessary skills and feel empowered to deliver a great customer experience every time.
You will maximise operational efficiencies by continually challenging existing processes in order to drive improved customer and colleague experiences. We work with colleagues throughout the wider business and with external partners so the ability to build and maintain strong working relationships will be key to your success.
Please Note: The initial training period will require full time attendance in the office. This role does offer hybrid working once full competent in the role. You will work between 8am - 7pm Monday-Friday
About you
You\'ll be a confident communicator, with experience or appetite to lead and motivate your own team. This\'ll be coupled with;
- Experience of coaching and mentoring, and knowledge of the Mortgage Training and Competence scheme.
- CeMAP qualification (or equivalent) is essential.
- Excellent people leader skills.
- Great communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Good understanding of all mortgage application types, knowledge of mortgage lending criteria and processes .
- Knowledge of the FCA & PRA certification regime.
